Whoops it's been a bit of a while since I last did a post. The reason is that whilst I have been creating this quilt in lockdown, I have also been setting up a specialist school for children with dyslexia. I admit, setting up a school in a global pandemic is a bit mad but thankfully we managed it and now have successfully completed our first term which means I can start resting (and sewing again). The quilt is much further on than this block, I am now finishing the boarders before I get it quilted using a longarm quilting machine. So stand by for more blocks, only 13 more to go!

This one is a little fiddley as you are creating 5cm squares using 4 small triangles, with each triangle being cut from a 7cm square. You first need to make the triangles within the squares and then sew the squares together.
