Obviously Emmeline Pankhurst was the mother of the suffragette movement in the UK. I read her book, Suffragette - my own story, an excellent and fascinating read if you would like a detailed view of the suffragette movement.
Anyway, this block is not totally finished. I drew the pattern for it in my bullet journal but had to figure out how to do the purple triangles which creating the block. This lead to me doing it once, then trying to trim the block to size, cutting off too much! Always remember, measure twice, cut once! I then frustratingly had to unpick and re-sew. This is why I have not trimmed it yet to the 20x20cm square as I will only do that when I sew the boarder to it.
(Also I realise it says Christabel Pankhurst, I had a bit of a dyslexic moment and forgot which was the mother)!
